Sandbar Resort

Sandbar Resort was constructed in the mid 1980’s and is situated on the sandbar which connects Medio Island to Mindoro Island itself. Sandbar Resort boasts a dive center offering a full range of courses from beginner right up to professional, swimming pool, tennis court, windsurfing school, restaurant, 26 air-conditioned rooms, cable tv, hot water and a makeshift gym as well as two pristine beaches 25 meters either side of the resort. Professionals are available for scuba diving, tennis and windsurfing lessons. There is even a swing for the kiddies.

As well as the various on-site activities, large grassy areas with sea-side views fringed by coconut palms and moored yachts are waiting to enchant you. (Be careful though, the views are so beautiful that you might just find yourself relaxing in the very same hammock several hours later!)
